Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Application
- Prep Your Skin: Start with a clean, moisturized face. For best results with a matte foundation, consider using a hydrating primer, especially if you have dry areas.
- Shake Well: Before each use, shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure the mineral pigments are evenly distributed.
- Dispense: Pump a small amount (1-2 pumps) onto the back of your hand or directly onto your preferred applicator.
- Apply: Using a foundation brush, sponge, or your fingertips, blend the foundation from the center of your face outwards. Pay attention to your jawline and hairline to ensure a seamless transition. Build coverage as needed.
Compatibility
This foundation is generally suitable for most skin types, particularly those seeking a matte finish. Its 'comfort' aspect implies it's formulated to be less drying than some traditional matte foundations, making it a good option for normal, combination, and oily skin. Individuals with very dry skin should ensure thorough moisturizing and priming to prevent any clinging to dry patches.
Care & Storage
- Storage: Store the foundation upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its consistency and efficacy.
- Hygiene: To prevent contamination, avoid touching the pump directly with your fingers. Clean the pump opening periodically with a clean tissue.
- Shelf Life: Check the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol, usually a small open jar icon with a number followed by 'M' (e.g., '12M' for 12 months), on the product packaging for its recommended shelf life after opening.
