The Dormer R454 Series Solid Carbide Twist Drill Bit is a high-performance FORCE X drill with DIN 6535HA NC parallel shank. It provides excellent wear resistance and improved tool life with its solid carbide construction. The TiAlN Coating increases surface hardness, wear resistance and improves tool life. The Continuously Thinned Web (CTW) provides excellent cross sectional strength to allow improved swarf removal and higher performance. The 4 Facet Split Point provides perfect centering and low thrust forces resulting in accurate holes and superior surface finish. Controlled edge honing and outer corner design provides high consistent tool life.
