Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your 8ft Mountain Pine tree is designed to be simple and stress-free:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging, including the tree sections and the metal stand.
- Assemble the Stand: Open the metal stand and ensure it's stable. If applicable, secure the bolts or clamps provided.
- Insert the Bottom Section: Place the widest tree section into the stand, ensuring it's firmly seated and upright.
- Attach Branches: Identify the colour-coded hook-on branches. Match them to the corresponding colour-coded slots on the central pole of each tree section. Start from the bottom section and work your way up.
- Assemble Upper Sections: Continue adding the remaining tree sections and attaching their respective branches, moving from largest to smallest section.
- Shape the Branches: This is the most crucial step for achieving a full look. Starting from the bottom, gently separate and fan out each individual branch tip. Work your way from the inside of the branch outwards, ensuring tips fill any gaps and create a natural silhouette. Spend extra time on this step to maximize fullness.
- Decorate: Once fluffed, your tree is ready for lights, baubles, and other festive adornments.
Compatibility
This artificial tree is designed for indoor use only. It is compatible with a wide range of standard Christmas decorations, including string lights (LED or incandescent), baubles, tinsel, and garlands. Ensure that any lights used are appropriate for artificial trees and adhere to local safety standards.
Care
- Cleaning: To keep your tree looking its best, gently dust the branches before and after use. For any stubborn spots, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the PVC tips, but avoid excessive moisture.
- Storage: After the holidays, carefully remove all decorations and lights. Disassemble the tree by removing branches and then sections. Store all components in their original box or a dedicated artificial tree storage bag in a cool, dry place to prevent dust accumulation and damage. Ensure branches are not bent or compressed tightly during storage to maintain their shape.
