Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the bottle jack is placed on a flat, firm, and level surface. Never use on uneven or soft ground.
- Position the jack directly beneath the designated lifting point of the object to be lifted.
- Close the release valve by turning the screw clockwise.
- Operate the handle up and down to begin lifting.
Compatibility:
This bottle jack is compatible with a wide range of industrial and automotive applications requiring heavy lifting. Ensure the object's weight does not exceed the 6-ton (approximately 12,000 lbs) capacity.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the jack with a clean, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid using harsh solvents.
- Storage: Store the jack in a dry environment. Ensure the ram is fully retracted when not in use to prevent corrosion.
- Hydraulic Fluid: Periodically check the hydraulic fluid level. If low, top up with appropriate hydraulic jack oil. Consult the manufacturer's guidelines for specific oil types.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the jack for any signs of damage, leaks, or wear. Do not use if any issues are found.
