FAQs
Is this vase dishwasher safe?
No, the Dartington Glitz Barrel Vase should be washed by hand to preserve the integrity of the crystal and the delicate engraving.
What are the dimensions of this vase?
The vase stands at a height of 26cm, making it a medium-sized statement piece suitable for most tables and mantles.
Can I use this for tall flowers?
While it can accommodate various stems, it is best suited for medium to short-stemmed arrangements due to the barrel-shaped design.
Is the crystal fragile?
Like all fine crystal, it is susceptible to breakage if dropped or hit against hard surfaces, so it should be handled with care.
Will the crystal elements fall off?
The Glitz collection is designed with durability in mind, but you should avoid submerging the vase in hot water or using harsh chemicals that could weaken the adhesive used for the crystal accents.
Troubleshooting
Water spots or mineral buildup on the crystal
Mix a small amount of white vinegar with water, gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth, and rinse thoroughly before drying.
Dull appearance of crystal elements
Gently polish the vase with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and restore the original luster.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your Dartington Glitz Barrel Vase in pristine condition, follow these guidelines:
- Placement: Ensure the surface is level and stable. Given the weight of the crystal, avoid placing it near the edge of narrow shelves.

- Drying: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to dry the vase immediately after washing to prevent water spots.
- Storage: If storing for long periods, wrap the vase in soft paper or a cloth bag to prevent dust accumulation and potential impact damage.
