Fiberglass Chopped Strand Matting - 600gsm

While it can be used, 600gsm is typically reserved for heavy traffic areas. For lighter use, a lower GSM matting may be more economical and easier to handle.

A 33kg roll of this 600gsm matting covers approximately 60 square metres.

This product is specifically engineered for the ProGRP system. Using other resins may result in poor structural performance or chemical incompatibility.

Keep it in a cool, dry, and clean environment. Avoid moisture exposure as it can weaken the fibers.

The 600gsm weight provides extra thickness and structural reinforcement, which is necessary for the mechanical demands of high-traffic roofing applications.

Increase the amount of resin applied to the area and use a high-quality consolidation roller to drive the liquid into the thicker 600gsm weave.

Ensure the surface below is properly primed and use a metal roller to move air bubbles toward the edges before the resin cures.

Use sharp, dedicated fiberglass shears rather than standard utility knives to prevent fraying of the heavy-duty strands.
