King Cole Yummy in the Sorbet colorway is a premier choice for parents and knitters crafting items for newborns and infants who prioritize softness above all else. This chenille-style yarn offers an exceptionally plush texture that feels gentle against sensitive skin, making it ideal for cozy baby blankets, soft toys, and comfortable infant apparel. While its squishy nature provides unparalleled comfort, users should be aware that the yarn's texture can make stitch definition harder to see, which may present a learning curve for beginners compared to standard wool or acrylic yarns.

Yes, it is specially designed for babies and has a very soft, non-irritating texture.
While it is machine washable, it is best to dry flat to ensure the long-term softness and shape of the garment.
Please check the specific ball band for the recommended gauge, as this can vary depending on the tension of your project.
It can be tricky for absolute beginners because the texture hides stitches, but it is very forgiving if you make small mistakes.
King Cole yarns are generally colorfast, but we recommend washing with similar colors for the first time as a precaution.
Use stitch markers at regular intervals to keep track of your count and rely on touch to feel for the loops.
Switch to wooden or bamboo needles which provide more friction, or use point protectors at the end of your needles.
Secure your ends by weaving them in more thoroughly than usual or by using a small dab of fabric-safe adhesive.
To begin using King Cole Yummy, ensure you have the correct needle or hook size as recommended on the ball band to maintain the desired density of your fabric.
