The Riolis Squirrel Counted Cross Stitch Kit is designed for embroidery enthusiasts of all skill levels who enjoy creating detailed, nature-themed textile art. This kit provides a comprehensive set of premium materials, including high-quality Zweigart fabric and rich wool/acrylic threads, to produce a charming 7 3/4 by 7 3/4 inch finished piece; however, users should be aware that the 10ct AIDA fabric results in a larger stitch size compared to more standard 14ct or 18ct varieties.

No, the kit includes the fabric, threads, needle, and instructions, but it does not include a frame.
The kit features 10ct AIDA fabric.
Yes, the 10ct fabric and clear instructions make this a very approachable project for beginners.
It is recommended to hand wash gently with mild detergent if necessary, then air dry flat.
The threads are provided in the kit; we recommend verifying them against your color chart before starting.
This kit is produced in Europe.
Organize threads in numerical order based on the included chart under natural daylight to improve color differentiation.
Apply a small amount of masking tape or a fray-check liquid to the edges of the AIDA fabric before starting your work.
Ensure consistent tension while pulling the thread; do not pull too tight, as this can distort the 10ct fabric holes.
To begin, secure your Zweigart fabric in an embroidery hoop, ensuring it is taut but not stretched, as AIDA fabric can warp if pulled too tightly. When stitching, handle the wool/acrylic blend carefully to prevent unnecessary pilling. Once the project is complete, gently hand wash the piece in cool water with a mild detergent if necessary, and lay it flat to air dry away from direct sunlight. Iron the finished piece on the reverse side using a low heat setting to preserve the texture of the stitches. Ensure your workspace is well-lit to clearly distinguish between the 16 thread colors provided in the chart.
