Setup
- Connect the router to your modem via the WAN port using an Ethernet cable.
- Plug in the power adapter and turn on the router.
- Connect to the default WiFi network (check the label on the router for the network name and password) or connect to the router via an Ethernet cable.
- Access the web-based management interface by typing the router's IP address (usually 192.168.1.1) into your web browser. You may need to consult your ISP for the correct settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection, WiFi settings, and other preferences.
Compatibility
The Zyxel DX3301-T0 is compatible with VDSL2, ADSL2+, and Gigabit Ethernet connections. It supports a wide range of devices that use WiFi standards including older devices, although for best performance, use devices that support WiFi 6.
Care
- Keep the router in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the router regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Ensure the firmware is up to date to maintain optimal performance and security.
- Regularly check for firmware updates through the web interface.
