The Flex Power Tools 531583 Metal Shears are designed for professionals and DIYers who need to make precise, burr-free cuts in metal sheets. Warranty information typically varies by region and retailer. Please refer to the warranty card included with your purchase or contact Flex Power Tools customer support for details.
Yes, the shears can cut stainless steel up to a thickness of 1.0mm (800 N/mm²).
The tool weighs approximately 1.5kg without a battery pack.
Ensure the battery pack is fully charged and correctly inserted into the tool. Check battery contacts for dirt or damage.
Check if the blades are dull or damaged. Adjust the blade spacing for the specific material thickness. Ensure the metal sheet is fed smoothly and steadily.
The tool has encountered resistance. Release the trigger, remove the tool from the metal, and check for any obstructions or binding in the blades or material. Reduce cutting pressure or ensure the material thickness is within specifications.
The battery charge may be low. Try a fully charged battery. If the issue persists, the motor may require inspection or the cutters may be worn out.
