Prym Corset Hooks - Black

Yes, their skin-friendly material and comfortable design make them suitable for garments intended for extended wear, especially structured items like corsets.

Each pack contains 6 complete sets of hooks and eyes.

Yes, the hooks are designed to be washable and rustproof, making them suitable for machine-washed garments, though following the garment's specific care instructions is always recommended.

They are made from plated stainless brass.

Yes, a silver variant (MPN 261550) is also available from Prym.

These are typically sewn onto fabric. You will need to secure the eye components to one edge of the opening and the hook components to the other using a strong thread and appropriate stitching.

The plating is designed for durability. With normal use and proper care, it should remain intact. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive rubbing.

Ensure the hooks are properly aligned and that there are no fabric obstructions. Slight, careful manipulation may be needed on the first few uses. If stiffness persists, check for any manufacturing defects.

Verify that the hooks are fully engaged with the eyes. Ensure the garment is not over-tightened to the point of stressing the closure. Check that the hooks and eyes are the correct size for the fabric weight.

While designed to be rustproof, prolonged exposure to certain harsh chemicals or excessive moisture without drying could potentially affect the finish. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Ensure garment is fully dry before storing.
