The Soho Lighting Kemp Wall Light is designed for homeowners and designers seeking a high-quality, nautical-style fixture that performs reliably in challenging environments, including humid bathrooms and coastal outdoor spaces. Its primary benefit is a blend of extreme weather resistance, thanks to an IP65/IP66 rating, and a timeless industrial aesthetic that pairs perfectly with decorative Edison bulbs. One caveat to note is that the bulb is not included, requiring the user to purchase an E27 bulb separately to match their preferred light temperature and style.

Yes, its IP65/IP66 rating makes it fully suitable for bathroom environments where moisture is present.
Absolutely. The solid brass construction and durable lacquer are designed to withstand the corrosive effects of salty, coastal air.
It requires a standard E27 bulb. Decorative Edison-style bulbs are recommended to complement the nautical design.
No, the brass is treated with a protective lacquer, so you do not need to polish it to maintain its appearance.
The fixture measures 120mm by 240mm.
No, bulbs are sold separately, allowing you to choose the color temperature that best fits your space.
Ensure the E27 bulb is screwed in firmly and verify that your electrical circuit is active. If the bulb is new, test it in another known working fixture.
Turn off power, remove the cover, and inspect the rubber gaskets for damage or debris. Ensure the fixture is tightened securely against the wall surface.
Installation should always be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure all IP-rated seals are correctly seated. The light is compatible with standard E27 bulbs; choose an LED version to maximize energy efficiency and bulb lifespan.
Care is straightforward: because the brass is finished with a protective lacquer, you should avoid using abrasive cleaners or metal polishes, which could strip the coating. Instead, simply wipe the fixture down with a soft, dry cloth or a damp microfibre cloth to remove dust or salt residue. Periodically inspect the glass seal to ensure it remains clear of debris that could impact the moisture-resistant seal.
