FAQs
How do I clean minor stains?
Blot the stain gently with a clean, damp, white cloth. Do not rub the fabric, as this can force the stain deeper into the fibers.
Is the fabric machine washable?
No, the upholstery should not be removed for machine washing. Spot cleaning with a mild fabric-safe detergent is recommended.
What is the primary benefit of the spill-proof finish?
It provides a protective barrier that causes liquids to bead on the surface, giving you more time to wipe them away before they soak into the foam.
Can I use this chair in a commercial environment?
The Chicago Armchair is designed for domestic residential use; check your warranty for specific coverage terms regarding non-residential settings.
Does the chair require assembly?
Most deliveries arrive largely assembled, though you may need to attach the feet or legs if included with your specific shipment.
Troubleshooting
Liquid seeps into the fabric during a spill
Ensure that the liquid was blotted immediately; if the spill-proof coating has been worn down by improper cleaning, you may need to apply a fabric protector spray.
Chair feels unstable on the floor
Check that all floor glides or feet are level and that the floor surface is not uneven. Adjust the positioning of the chair.
Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup for the Chicago Armchair is straightforward, though it is recommended to have two people assist with positioning if the item is delivered pre-assembled. Ensure the chair is placed on a level floor to maintain balance. For care, use a soft-bristled vacuum attachment to remove dust weekly. For accidental spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, white cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or bleach, as these can damage the protective spill-proof finish. Periodic checking of the frame ensures that all components remain secure.
