Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
Your Tsuyosa Automatic watch is powered by an automatic movement, meaning it does not require a battery. To start the watch:
- If the watch has stopped, manually wind the crown by rotating it clockwise (with the crown pushed in) for about 30-40 turns until you feel resistance. This will provide an initial power reserve.
- Set the time and date by pulling the crown out to the appropriate position (refer to your specific model's manual for crown positions).
Compatibility:
This watch is a standalone analog timepiece and does not require compatibility with other electronic devices.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: While rated at 50 meters, avoid prolonged submersion. Rinse with fresh water if exposed to salt water or chemicals. Ensure the crown is pushed in completely to maintain water resistance.
- Winding: For optimal accuracy, wear the watch daily for at least 8-10 hours. If you do not wear it regularly, manual winding every 1-2 days is recommended to maintain the power reserve.
- Servicing: Automatic watches benefit from periodic servicing (typically every 3-5 years) by a qualified watchmaker to ensure continued accuracy and performance.
