The Felco 6/3 replacement cutting blade is an essential maintenance component for professional gardeners and viticulturists who rely on the precision of Felco Model 6 or Model 12 secateurs. It offers the key benefit of an anti-friction gold coating that minimizes resin buildup and increases durability during heavy-duty cutting tasks. The primary caveat is that this specific part is engineered exclusively for models 6 and 12, so users must verify their tool model before purchase to ensure compatibility.

No, this blade is specifically designed for models 6 and 12. Using it on other models will not yield a correct fit.
The coating is designed to reduce friction and minimize the accumulation of resin and sap, making the tool easier to operate and clean.
No, this product is the replacement cutting blade only.
Sharpening frequency depends on usage intensity. Generally, a light honing with a Felco sharpening stone every few weeks of use will keep the edge optimal.
The blade features high corrosion resistance, but it should still be wiped dry and lightly oiled after use in wet conditions to prevent oxidation.
Adjust the central pivot bolt; the blade should move freely without excessive looseness.
Check the blade tension and ensure the counter-blade is not excessively worn; verify the blade is fully tightened.
Use a penetrating oil on the bolt and allow it to sit for 10 minutes before attempting to loosen it again.
This blade is designed exclusively for the Felco 6 and Felco 12 secateur models. To install the blade, you will need a set of hex keys or the appropriate Felco adjustment tool.
To care for the blade, wipe it down with a light oil after each use to keep the gold coating clean and ensure the pivot mechanism remains lubricated.
