EXIT The Game: Adventures in Catan is designed for puzzle enthusiasts and Catan fans aged 10 and up who enjoy collaborative problem-solving and narrative-driven challenges. The primary benefit of this game is its ability to bring a high-stakes escape room experience into your living room, encouraging teamwork and creative logic without the need for digital screens. A key caveat to keep in mind is that the game is a single-use experience; like a physical escape room, materials are often folded, torn, or written upon, meaning you cannot reset the game to play it a second time.

No, this is a standalone game and does not require any components from other Catan titles.
Yes, while it is designed for up to four players, it is fully playable as a solo experience.
No, the components are intended to be modified, torn, or drawn on during the game, which makes it a one-time use product.
Gameplay typically ranges between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the puzzle-solving speed of the group.
The game is recommended for ages 10 and up due to the complexity of the logic puzzles involved.
The game includes a three-stage hint card system for each puzzle. Use the first hint for a gentle nudge, the second for a direct clue, and the third for the final answer.
Double-check that you are using the correct set of symbols from the current card and ensure the wheel is aligned correctly according to the prompt.
To begin, open the box and lay out the deck of cards and the provided decoder wheel. No external Catan game board is required for play, as this is an independent title. It is recommended to have a notepad, a few pens, and a pair of scissors on hand, as you may need to cut or manipulate certain paper components during the experience. The game is best played on a flat, well-lit surface. Because the game is intended for one-time use, do not worry about damaging the materials; feel free to mark them up as necessary to find the solutions. Keep the game in a cool, dry place until you are ready to open it, as the card components are sensitive to moisture.
