This refurbished DeWalt SDS+ Drill is designed for professionals and serious DIYers who need a versatile and reliable rotary hammer for drilling into masonry and brick, with the added benefit of light chiselling capabilities. Its key advantage is the combination of hammer, screwdriving, and rotation stop functions, all within an ergonomic design for comfortable extended use. A potential consideration is that this is a refurbished unit, so verifying the warranty and condition is recommended.

This drill uses SDS Plus bits. Standard cylindrical drill bits are not compatible.
While it can drill into concrete, it is best suited for medium-duty applications. For extensive or heavy-duty concrete work, a more powerful rotary hammer may be required.
The rotation stop disengages the rotation of the chuck, allowing the tool to be used for light chiselling or scraping tasks on materials like brick and masonry.
This product is a refurbished unit.
Keep the chuck clean and free of debris. Periodically apply a small amount of SDS grease to the bit shanks before insertion, but avoid over-greasing the chuck itself.
Overload protection prevents damage to the motor and internal components if the drill encounters excessive resistance, and it also helps to prevent sudden kickback, enhancing user safety.
Ensure the bit is a genuine SDS Plus bit and is clean. Rotate the bit slightly while inserting it firmly into the chuck.
Check if the correct mode is selected. Ensure the bit is not dull or damaged. For refurbished units, internal component wear might be a factor.
Reduce the load on the tool and allow it to cool down. Ensure ventilation slots are clear of debris. Avoid continuous high-demand use without breaks.
Check if the bit is properly seated and not bent. Ensure the chuck is clean. Excessive vibration can also indicate internal wear.
