Professional thread repair kit for commercial or occasional home use. This M5 x 0.8mm metric thread repair kit is suitable for repairing stripped, damaged, or corroded internal threads. It protects tapped threads against wear and damage, creating a stronger internal thread in soft materials for a permanent repair. The stainless steel helicoil offers maximum strength and durability and is resistant to rust. The kit is easy and simple to use, and the narrow tolerances ensure the new thread is stronger. Simple to Use: 1. Drilling – Clear the damaged thread with the correct size drill bit included in the kit. 2. Check – Ensure the thread and pitch of the tap and bolt match. 3. Tapping – Use the special V-coil taps and cutting oil (recommended) to cut the holding thread into the cleared hole. 4. Install the Insert – Place the insert on the installation tool, center the tang, and wind it into the hole until half a turn below the surface. 5. Tang Removal – Use the tang breaking tool to remove the tang after finishing.
