FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of the scarf?

The Joules Bloomfield Square Scarf measures 88cm x 88cm.

Can I iron this scarf?

It is generally recommended to avoid direct heat on silk. If necessary, use a cool iron on the reverse side through a pressing cloth.

Is this scarf suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, 100% silk is a natural fiber and is generally gentle and hypoallergenic, making it suitable for most skin types.

Does the scarf include any synthetic materials?

No, the product is crafted from 100% silk.

How should I pack this for travel?

To prevent wrinkling, fold the scarf neatly and place it inside a silk or satin pouch, or lay it flat inside a travel garment bag.

Will the colors fade over time?

Like all natural fiber garments, direct prolonged exposure to sunlight can lead to fading. Store in a dark place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

Small snag or pull in the fabric

Use a needle to gently nudge the pulled thread back into the weave of the fabric from the reverse side; do not cut the thread.

Accidental spot or stain

Gently blot the area with a slightly damp, clean, soft cloth. Do not rub, as this can damage the silk fibers.

Care Instructions

Cleaning: The manufacturer specifies a wipe-clean approach. Avoid submerging the entire garment in water to maintain the integrity of the silk fibers.
Storage: Store flat or loosely folded in a drawer away from direct sunlight, which can fade the rich hues of the heritage print.
Handling: Ensure that your fingernails and jewelry (such as rings or bracelets) are smooth, as silk is prone to snagging. Keep the scarf away from sharp objects to prevent pulls or tears.
