This riveter is primarily designed for sheet metal, plastics, and similar materials. It's excellent for joining aluminum, steel, and other common metals used in fabrication and repair.

Use the spanner tool provided, which is stored inside the riveter's handle. Unscrew the current nozzle head and screw on the desired size (2.4mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, or 4.8mm) securely.

The riveter comes with an initial set of 75 assorted rivets and a bonus pack of 320 additional assorted rivets. These include various sizes (2.4mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, 4.8mm) and are typically aluminum with steel pulling mandrels.

While 'heavy duty' for a hand riveter, it is best suited for medium-duty tasks and frequent DIY use. For continuous, high-volume industrial applications, a pneumatic or electric riveter might be more appropriate.

The required force depends on the rivet size and material thickness. The ergonomic design and spring-loaded handle help minimize user effort, but thicker materials or harder rivets will naturally require more squeezing force.

The bonus 320-piece rivet set comes in a handy plastic storage case. The riveter tool itself does not include a dedicated storage case.

Ensure you are using the correct nozzle size for the rivet. Check if the rivet is damaged or not fully seated in the nozzle. Apply firm, consistent pressure.

The mechanism may need lubrication. Clean any debris and apply a light machine oil to the pivot points and handles. Check for bent internal parts.

Verify the spring-loaded mechanism is functioning correctly. Ensure the nozzle is clean and the stem is not jammed. Gentle tapping on the handle might dislodge it.

The jaws inside the nozzle may be dirty or worn. Clean the jaws thoroughly. If wear is significant, the jaws might need replacement, though this is uncommon for hand riveters.
