This complete PV Logic 20wp Roof / Deck Top Kit is ideal for permanent off-grid power in boats, caravans, motorhomes, or trailers. The 20W semi-flexible solar panel glues directly to a surface without fixings and is fitted with a 4m cable. It connects to the battery via a 10Ah charge controller and can generate up to 120Wh per day. Certified to ISO 9227 and ISO 4892 for saltwater immersion and high-intensity UV exposure, the panel is reliable in extreme conditions. The kit includes a 20W Flexi panel with a 4m cable, a 10Ah twin battery charge controller, bonding agent, cable feed gland terminals, fixings, and user instructions. The ETFE top layer provides a self-healing surface, can withstand soft deck shoes, and offers an anti-slip surface. The panel is completely waterproof due to its six-layer laminate and sealed junction box. For panels 60W and above, diodes prevent hot spots from partial shading. Rounded corners and a curved junction box ensure superior adhesion and no sharp edges. The junction box is mechanically fixed and bonded, with strain relief for the UV-stabilised PV cable. The 10A Dual Battery Charge Controller is for off-grid solar systems, capable of charging two batteries simultaneously and operating on 12V or 24V systems. It optimises the charging process for battery life and system performance, featuring self-diagnostics and electronic protections against installation mistakes or system faults, including reverse current protection, unique dual battery charging, efficient Series PWM charging, automatic 12/24V recognition, overload protection, open circuit protection, lightning surge protection, deep discharge protection, and charge current protection up to 10A. The flexi range can be bonded to flat or slightly curved surfaces using Simson ISR 70-03, and can also be mechanically fixed.
