Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure your printer's drivers are up-to-date and that you have selected the correct paper profile for optimal color and density. Calibrate your monitor and printer for the most accurate results.
Compatibility: This paper is compatible with most inkjet printers, particularly those that support pigment-based inks, which are recommended for archival printing. It works well with Canson's ICC profiles, available on their website, for various printer models.
Care:
- Handling: Always handle the paper with clean cotton or nitrile gloves to prevent fingerprints, which can be difficult to remove from the smooth surface.
- Storage: Store unused sheets in their original packaging or an archival-safe box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
- Printing: Load only one sheet at a time to prevent jams and ensure proper feeding.
- Post-Printing: Allow prints to dry completely (at least 24 hours) in a well-ventilated area before stacking, framing, or handling further. Use archival framing materials (acid-free mats and backing) for long-term display.
