Troubleshooting

Foam dissolving too quickly

Ensure the bag is sealed properly and stored in a cool, dry place. For a slower dissolve, apply by licking and wrapping around the hook shank instead of just nicking the hook point.

Difficulty in nicking hook into foam

Use slightly larger foam pieces, or if the foam is very dry, a tiny amount of moisture can help it adhere better.

Foam not visible enough

While fluoro colours offer good visibility, consider using a slightly larger piece or a brighter fluoro shade if available and appropriate for the conditions.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Enhances rig presentation and protection
Versatile applications for various fishing needs
Environmentally friendly and biodegradable
Highly visible fluoro colours

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

Take a nugget of foam from the resealable bag.
For hook point protection or tangle prevention, nick your hook point into the foam. For a longer dissolve rate, lick the nugget and wrap it around the hook shank and hair.
For packing spods, use small pieces of foam to fill any gaps around your bait.

Compatibility:

This rig foam is compatible with all types of fishing rigs and baiting methods, including spodding and PVA bag presentations.

Care:

Store the foam in its original resealable slider bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its integrity and prevent premature dissolving. Ensure the bag is properly sealed after each use.
