Hope's threaded 30mm bottom bracket shares the same high quality design and durability as their well proven 24mm version. The machined aluminium cups hold stainless steel cartridge bearings in stainless races. High quality stainless steel bearings give a much greater life span than stock units. Cartridge bearings are replaceable. The unit is suitable for 68, 73, 83, 100 and 120mm width bottom brackets. Designed to suit cranks with 30mm axles. Please note specific fitting tool (HTT188) needed to fit bottom bracket. Available separately. Bottom Bracket 30mm (Threaded) Tech Specs: Available with replaceable stainless bearings for less friction and greater life span. Hope's well proven stainless bottom brackets make an ideal choice for the consumer who is looking for longevity and a smooth transition. The machined aluminium cups hold full stainless steel INA Swiss made cartridge bearings which are custom made to give much greater life span than stock units and are also replaceable to reduce wastage and minimise expense. The bearings are designed to run directly on the crankset axle, without the use of shims or spacers which further increases lifespan and reliability when combined with the non contact, free running external labyrinth seal.
