Bitubond Bitumen Primer is an essential solution for professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts preparing surfaces for bitumen-based coatings, tapes, or mastics. It provides deep penetration to seal porous materials and improve adhesion for roofing and flooring projects, though it requires a completely dry surface for effective application, making it less suitable for damp or rainy conditions.

Yes, it is suitable for weathered corrugated iron, provided loose rust has been removed by brushing before application.
This product is typically intended for external or industrial use. Ensure there is significant ventilation if using in any enclosed space.

Before application, ensure the surface is structurally sound, clean, and entirely dry. Remove all loose debris, grease, rust, and oil using a wire brush or cleaning agent if necessary. Once clean, apply the primer using a stiff-bristled brush or roller.
