Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Edding 1340 Brushpen is ready to use straight out of the packaging. Simply remove the cap and begin drawing or coloring. For optimal performance, ensure the cap is replaced firmly after each use to prevent the nib from drying out.
Compatibility: This brushpen is designed for use on most paper types. For best results and to minimize bleed-through, it is recommended to use slightly heavier paper stocks (e.g., watercolor paper, cardstock, or specialized marker paper). It is compatible with water for blending and can be used in conjunction with rubber stamps.
Care: To maintain the pen's performance:
- Always replace the cap securely after use.
- Store the pen horizontally or with the tip facing down to ensure consistent ink flow.
- Avoid excessive pressure on the brush tip, which can cause damage.
- If the tip becomes clogged with dried ink, gently moisten the tip with a damp cloth or a small amount of water.
