The Akake Cat 8 Ethernet cable is designed for users who require high-performance network stability for gaming, streaming, or professional data tasks. It offers a significant performance boost with speeds up to 40Gbps and a 2000MHz bandwidth, though its flat design may require careful handling during installation to prevent sharp bends that could compromise signal integrity.

Yes, the UV-resistant PVC jacket allows for outdoor use, though you should protect the connectors from direct moisture exposure.
Yes, it is fully backward compatible with older standards such as Cat 7, Cat 6, and Cat 5e.
No, the cable is engineered to maintain performance specifications despite its flat form factor, provided it is not damaged.
Yes, it is compatible with all gaming consoles that feature a standard RJ45 Ethernet port.
Use flat-cable-specific mounting clips to ensure the cable is held securely without pinching the internal wires.
Ensure the cable is fully seated in the RJ45 port and verify that the networking device port is active.
Inspect the cable for sharp kinks or deep creases; if damaged, replace the segment to restore signal path integrity.
Verify that your router and connected device ports are rated for 10Gbps or higher, as Cat 8 speed is limited by the slowest hardware in the chain.
Installation is straightforward: simply insert the RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, gaming console, or smart TV until you hear a click. For the best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines to minimize potential interference. When routing the cable, avoid sharp corners or heavy furniture pressure on the flat surface. For outdoor runs, ensure the connectors remain dry or use a weather-resistant junction box, even though the cable jacket is UV-protected. Clean the cable periodically with a dry cloth if it becomes dusty, avoiding chemical solvents that could degrade the PVC jacket.
