The Husqvarna Functional Winter Gloves are designed for professionals working in cold and wet outdoor conditions, offering reliable warmth and protection. Their key benefit lies in keeping hands dry and comfortable thanks to a water-repellent membrane and Thinsulate lining, while the touch-screen compatibility adds significant convenience. A potential caveat is that while designed for warmth, extreme sub-zero temperatures might still require additional layering.

While the gloves offer good warmth and water repellency, for prolonged deep snow immersion or handling ice without breaks, consider additional waterproofing or layering. They are designed for general cold and wet work conditions.
EN 511 certifies performance against cold (convective, contact cold, and water penetration). EN 388:2016 certifies resistance to mechanical risks like abrasion, cutting, tearing, and puncture. These certifications indicate the gloves have met specific safety and performance benchmarks.
The gloves are available in sizes 8, 10, and 12. It's recommended to measure your hand circumference and compare it to the brand's sizing chart, or try them on if possible, to ensure a snug but comfortable fit.
It is not recommended to machine wash these gloves. Hand washing in cold water with mild soap is the preferred method to maintain the integrity of the water-repellent membrane and insulation.
The touch screen feature is integrated into the fabric of the index finger. While designed for regular use, excessive abrasion or rough handling on the fingertip area could potentially reduce its effectiveness over time.
Thinsulate is a synthetic insulation material known for its warmth and thinness. Micro fleece is a soft, lightweight synthetic fabric that provides additional comfort and thermal insulation.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. If hands are still cold, consider using a thinner liner glove underneath for added insulation in extreme conditions.
Ensure the touch-sensitive area of the index finger is clean and dry. Wipe the screen gently. Note that very dirty screens or certain screen protectors might reduce sensitivity.
Ensure the gloves are fully air-dried away from heat. Flex your hands while wearing them to help restore suppleness. Avoid machine drying.
Check that the knitted elastic cuff is snug against the wrist and that there are no tears in the glove material. Ensure the cuff is properly positioned over or under sleeves depending on your preference for sealing.
Setup: These gloves require no setup. They are ready to wear directly out of the packaging. Ensure you select the correct size for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility: The primary compatibility feature is the touch screen-friendly index finger, designed to work with most capacitive touch screens on smartphones, tablets, and GPS devices. Performance may vary based on screen protectors or device sensitivity.
