Makita Grass Trimmer Spool - 6m Line - Metal Bump Head

This spool set is compatible with Makita DUR181, DUR141, and UR180D models.

Remove the old spool, insert the new spool, ensuring the line feeds correctly, and secure the trimmer head.

Tap the bump knob on the ground while the trimmer is running.

The spool set includes 2 x 6M lines.

Check for any sharp edges or obstacles that might be causing the line to break. Make sure you are using the correct line type for your trimmer. Consider reducing the trimmer's speed or using a thicker line.

After each use, remove the battery and clean the trimmer head with a brush or cloth to remove grass and debris. Do not use water directly on the motor.

The frequency of spool replacement depends on how often you use the trimmer and the type of grass you are cutting. Check the line regularly and replace it when it becomes too short or breaks frequently.

Check if the spool is installed correctly and the line isn't tangled. Tap the bump knob on the ground while the trimmer is running to advance the line. Replace the spool if the line is broken or worn.

Ensure the line is at the correct length and not worn down excessively. Check if the spool is compatible with your trimmer model. If the line is still cutting unevenly, try replacing the spool.

Make sure the bump knob is not damaged and can move freely. If damaged, replace it. Ensure the line is not tangled inside the spool. Tap the bump knob firmly on the ground to feed the line.
