First created in 1945 by Charles and Ray Eames, the Plywood Elephant was originally a prototype that showcased their ground breaking work in moulded plywood. Today, it is available as a limited production piece, carrying forward the same sense of playfulness and sculptural beauty. Made from high-quality plywood, the Elephant highlights the natural warmth and texture of the wood, giving it a refined presence that works as both a design object and a statement piece of furniture. Its friendly, curved form makes it appealing to children and adults alike, whether used decoratively, as a stool, or as a playful accent in a living space. The Plywood edition celebrates the Eames''s’ mastery of materials, combining craftsmanship with a timeless design that remains just as captivating decades later.
