The Kapro 447 Mason Square features 3 masonry-specific scales: standard masonry rule (standard spacing), modular masonry rule (layout of commercial masonry), and oversized masonry rule (oversized spacing). It is ideal for laying out the base of walls and for use in tough-to-reach locations. Handy residential and commercial masonry formulas are readily available with conversion charts on both sides of the square. Its anodized profile resists wear and corrosion from dirt and mud, unlike standard rulers. Additional features include scribe indicators at 1/4 inch increments, a pivot point for laying out rake (angles), and a 90-degree layout for hypotenuse to easily find plumb. Furthermore, its size is perfect for marking CMU and all masonry cuts, allowing you to cut full 8-inch masonry blocks.
