Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Application:
- Preparation: Ensure your skin is clean and moisturized. For best results, allow moisturizers or serums to fully absorb before application.
- Application Tool: Use a dense brush, a makeup sponge, or your fingertips. Many find a dense brush provides the most even application and best blurring effect.
- Technique: Gently swirl your chosen tool into the balm to pick up product. Lightly pat or press the product onto areas where you want to blur pores, reduce shine, or even out skin tone (e.g., T-zone, cheeks).
- Layering: For more coverage, you can build up thin layers. If using as a primer, apply a thin layer and then proceed with your foundation.
Compatibility:
- Skincare: Compatible with most skincare routines. Allow water-based products to absorb fully before applying.
- Makeup: Works well under liquid, cream, or powder foundations. It can also be used over liquid foundation to set and further blur, or for touch-ups.
- Skin Types: Ideal for oily, combination, and normal skin types. Those with very dry skin may wish to ensure adequate hydration before use to avoid emphasizing dry patches due to its matte finish.
Care & Storage:
- Storage: Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain its balm consistency.
- Hygiene: Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use to prevent drying out and contamination.
- Cleaning: If using a brush or sponge, clean them regularly to ensure hygienic application and optimal product performance. Avoid getting water directly into the balm itself.
