CarPlan Engine Lacquer Gloss is a high quality, long lasting paint specially designed to cope with heat up to 150°C. It is ideal for painting both plastic and metal engine blocks and inlets. CarPlan Engine Lacquer provides a bright, protective coating that resists petrol, oil, diesel fuel, and general under-the-bonnet grime. Ensure the surface is completely dry before application. For aluminium parts, clean, degrease, and abrade with wet & dry sandpaper before applying a good quality Etch Primer and then the Engine Lacquer. Allow to fully dry before running the engine. The product reaches optimal protection against petrol, oil, and diesel fuel when fully dry. Store at room temperature. Clean brushes with CarPlan Paint Thinners after use. Drying time is affected by temperature; avoid application above 30°C or below 5°C.
