Product Information

Full details

The Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is designed for individuals seeking a weightless, medium-coverage foundation that enhances skin's natural luminosity while providing long-lasting hydration. Its reformulated texture, enriched with skincare actives like niacinamide and glycerin, offers a natural, skin-like finish that blurs imperfections and pores for up to 24 hours. While it provides a beautiful glow and hydration, some users might find that the buildable coverage may not be sufficient for those requiring very high or full coverage without additional products.

FAQs

How do I find my perfect shade?

First, identify your undertone: cool (blue veins), warm (green veins), or neutral (mix of blue and green). Then, determine your shade range from fair to deep. Finally, use the provided shade guide to find your closest match for a natural, luminous glow.

Can I use this foundation if I have oily skin?

Yes, the Luminous Silk Foundation is non-comedogenic and tested under dermatological control, making it suitable for oily and acne-prone skin. It provides a non-oily, freshly-applied effect. For extended wear, you may wish to lightly powder your T-zone.

Does this foundation offer full coverage?

The Luminous Silk Foundation offers buildable medium coverage. It is designed to provide a natural, skin-like finish. If you require very high coverage, you can build it up, but it may not achieve a full-coverage look without the use of additional concealers or products.

How long does the hydration last?

The formula is enriched with ingredients like glycerin and Mediterranean flower extracts that lock in hydration for up to 24 hours, providing a comfortable, moisturized feel throughout the day.

Is the formula suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, the foundation is tested under dermatological control and is formulated to be suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

What is the Liquid Silk Technology?

Liquid Silk Technology is a proprietary formulation that helps the foundation melt into the skin, creating a weightless texture that blurs imperfections and provides a luminous, natural finish.

How should I store the foundation?

Store the foundation in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is tightly closed after each use to maintain the integrity of the formula.

Troubleshooting

Foundation appears streaky upon application.

Ensure your skin is properly prepped and moisturized. Try applying with a damp sponge or a different brush. Use less product and build coverage gradually.

Shade appears too light or too dark.

Refer to the shade-finding guide, considering your undertone (cool, warm, neutral) and shade range (fair to deep). It may be beneficial to try a shade lighter and one shade darker to find the perfect match.

Foundation feels heavy or cakey.

You may be using too much product. Try applying a thinner layer and building coverage only where needed. Ensure proper blending is achieved.

Product oxidizes and changes color throughout the day.

Ensure proper skin preparation. Some users may benefit from using a mattifying primer in the T-zone to help prevent color change. Allow the foundation to set completely before assessing the final shade.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Application: Shake the bottle gently before use. Dispense a small amount onto the back of your hand or a palette. Apply to the face using your preferred method: fingertips, a dense brush, or a damp makeup sponge. Start from the center of the face and blend outwards. Layer for increased coverage if desired.
