Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose debris. Remove any flaking paint or wallpaper.
- Application: Use a filling knife or similar tool to apply the filler to the damaged area. Press firmly to ensure it fills the gap completely.
- Smoothing: Smooth the surface with the filling knife, aiming for a flush finish.
- Drying: Allow the filler to dry completely. Drying time will vary depending on the depth of the fill and environmental conditions (temperature and humidity).
- Sanding (If Needed): While often unnecessary, you can lightly sand the surface to achieve a perfectly smooth finish.
- Sealing (for Exterior Use): Apply a suitable paint or varnish to protect the filler from the elements when used externally.
Compatibility: The filler is compatible with a wide range of paints and varnishes. Always test in an inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.
Care: Store in a cool, dry place. Ensure the container is tightly sealed after use to prevent the filler from drying out.
