The LG External Water Filter FSS-002 / 5231JA2010B is designed to stop the pollution of unwanted particles and chemicals from your water/ice supply at home. It fits all refrigerators with an external water filter type: 5231JA2010B, 3010541600, 3019974100 for American Style Side By Side refrigerators. This is a genuine LG external filter with PUSH FIT connectors, manufactured by Microfilter, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for LG and Samsung, to the same specifications as the original LG 5231JA2010B and Samsung DA29-10105J water filters. The filter cartridge features 1/4" (6.35mm) tube push fit connectors and is quick connect 6 mm - 1/4" tubing, tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42. It offers a flow rate of 1.9 lpm and operates at a temperature range of min 4.4°C / max 38°C with a pressure range of Min: 172 kPa (25 psi) / Max: 862 kPa (125 psi). The technology used is Activated Carbon, with a chlorine reduction capacity of 9,464 litres, and a recommended service life of 6 months. This filter purifies domestic water with chlorine reduction or removal, improving taste and odour. It is highly efficient and easy to use.
