Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation: Ensure your subfloor is level, dry, and clean before beginning. Always use a high-quality flooring underlay to provide moisture protection and acoustic dampening. During installation, use a tapping block to ensure each click-lock joint is fully sealed to avoid gaps.
Compatibility: This flooring is generally compatible with water-based underfloor heating systems, though you must check manufacturer guidelines regarding maximum surface temperatures.
Care: Maintain the finish by vacuuming or sweeping regularly to remove grit that can act as an abrasive. For deeper cleaning, use a damp—not wet—mop with a laminate-specific cleaner. Avoid steam mops, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the locking joints over time.
