The Finish Line Grease Gun is designed for precise and clean application of grease to various bicycle components. It is ideal for lubricating pedals, hubs, bottom brackets, headsets, and crank bolts, especially in hard-to-reach areas thanks to its long tip. This gun is compatible with Finish Line's 3.5oz Premium Grease tubes and 2oz Ceramic Grease tubes, and also fits most standard 9/16" threaded grease tubes, though it is not compatible with 1/2" threaded tubes like Phil Wood's. The one-hand operation allows for measured grease injection, delivering 2cc per stroke, which prevents over-greasing that can increase friction. This method avoids the contamination issues common with open grease pots and helps prevent seal damage. The special long tip is precision-radiused to mate exactly with all popular grease fittings and can reach even recessed suspension pivot grease ports. It is suitable for all Grease Guard purgeable bearing systems.
