ForgeFix Wing Nuts & Washers provide a convenient alternative to standard Hex Nuts, allowing for hand tightening without the need for spanners or other tools. Also known as a 'Thumbscrew', the wing nut features two large metal 'wings' for easy tightening and loosening. Both the nuts and washers are bright zinc plated for increased corrosion resistance. These are ideal for applications requiring frequent adjustments or quick part removal. They can be used with all threaded bolt products. The zinc coating prevents oxidation, creating a longer-lasting finish by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode. Zinc oxide, a fine white dust, prevents substrate breakdown. The ForgeFix Nwing Nut & Washer is supplied in a handy ForgePack.
