Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, always pre-treat your fabric as you intend to wash the finished garment—in this case, via gentle hand washing in cool water. Avoid agitation to prevent unintended shrinkage or further felting.
When cutting, use sharp, professional-grade shears or a rotary cutter to navigate the dense texture cleanly. Because of the fabric's 415 gsm weight, use a size 90/14 or 100/16 universal or sharp needle for your machine. When pressing, use a steam iron on a wool setting, but avoid dragging the iron across the surface to prevent stretching; instead, use a 'press and lift' motion with a pressing cloth to protect the ivory finish.
