Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install, first drill a pilot hole appropriate for the screw's diameter and the material you are fastening into. For wood, a slightly smaller diameter pilot hole is recommended. For concrete or masonry, use a suitable masonry drill bit and anchor if necessary. Insert the coach screw and use a socket wrench or spanner that fits the 6mm hex head to drive it in until snug and secure. Do not overtighten.
Compatibility: These screws are compatible with a wide range of materials including various types of wood, treated lumber, and can be used in conjunction with appropriate anchors in concrete, brick, or drywall. Ensure your tool's socket or spanner size matches the 6mm hex head.
Care: To maintain the integrity and appearance of the zinc plating, avoid abrasive cleaners. If used in environments prone to high humidity or direct salt spray, consider additional protective coatings or alternative fasteners. Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture without protection.
