This 13A fused connection unit with optional flex outlet from the BG Metal Clad range has a Type A-RCD providing enhanced safety and isolation of a circuit in commercial and industrial settings. It is a versatile and sturdy metal unswitched fused connection unit with flex outlet, featuring cable entry in the front face with a removable blanking piece and reversible cord grip. It has rounded edges and a raised profile. Manufactured in heavy gauge steel and finished with epoxy powder coating, it ensures durability and longevity, being rugged and scratch resistant suitable for everyday use. The integrated Type A RCD latching mechanism cuts power if a fault is detected, protecting against the risk of electric shock. It automatically resets after power is lost. This unit enables power isolation from the mains electricity supply, ideal for spur circuits and hardwired appliances, with embossed FUSE on the fuse cover. It is easy to install with colour-coded terminals and captive screws for fast installation and to prevent screw loss. Twin earth provides additional safety for high integrity circuits. The mounting box has 1x 20mm knockouts on each side for versatility.
