Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard masonry wall ties suited for partial-fill applications. The boards are typically installed as the inner leaf rises, ensuring that each board is secured with a minimum of three wall ties to prevent movement. When cutting the boards, use a fine-toothed saw to achieve clean edges, which helps in creating tight, gap-free joints. Avoid storing the boards in direct contact with the ground; keep them under cover on a flat, dry surface to prevent moisture ingress or physical damage to the foil facing. Ensure that the cavity remains free of mortar droppings during construction, as these can create bridges for moisture and compromise thermal performance.
