The US Pro 7-piece punch and chisel set is a versatile collection of tools ideal for automotive mechanics, metalworkers, and DIY enthusiasts who require precision for tasks like cutting, shaping, or driving out pins. Crafted from durable chrome vanadium steel with a black phosphate finish, these tools offer excellent resistance to wear and tear during heavy-duty tasks; however, they require regular cleaning and light oiling to maintain their corrosion-resistant coating.

These tools are designed primarily for metalworking applications and may dull or chip if used on masonry or concrete.
The black phosphate finish provides superior corrosion resistance and a matte surface that helps retain oil for better protection.
The tools are made from high-strength chrome vanadium steel, which provides the necessary hardness for impact work on metal components.
Use a penetrating oil on the pin or fastener and lightly tap the surrounding area to break the seal before attempting to drive it out further.
Yes, you can spot clean the canvas roll with mild detergent and water, but ensure it is completely dry before re-inserting the tools.
Grind the mushroomed metal away safely using a bench grinder to maintain a clean, flat striking surface.
Clean the affected area with a wire brush, apply a rust inhibitor, and ensure they are stored in a dry environment.
No complex setup is required; the tools are ready for use out of the canvas wallet. These tools are compatible with standard machinist hammers or dead-blow hammers. To ensure longevity: after each use, wipe down the tools with a clean rag to remove metal shavings or debris. If the tools have been exposed to moisture, apply a light coat of machine oil before placing them back in the canvas wallet to prevent surface oxidation. Store the wallet in a dry location to maintain the integrity of the tool storage slots.
