Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Remove the old strainer (if applicable). This may involve unscrewing or simply lifting it out.
- Clean the drain opening to ensure a good fit.
- Insert the new SPARES2GO strainer into the drain.
- Ensure it sits securely and the rubber seal creates a tight fit.
Compatibility
This waste strainer is designed to be compatible with most standard sink and bath drains. The key is its 83mm diameter, so it is important to measure your drain opening prior to purchase to confirm compatibility.
Care
- Cleaning: Remove the strainer regularly to clean off any debris and buildup. Rinse it with warm, soapy water.
- Inspection: Check the rubber seal periodically for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
- Maintenance: Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the stainless steel or the rubber seal. A simple soap and water solution is usually sufficient.
