The Nordic Ware 12-Cavity Muffin Pan is designed for home bakers and professionals who prioritize consistent heat distribution and structural integrity in their bakeware. Its primary benefit is the superior thermal conductivity of its pure aluminum construction, which ensures uniform browning across all dozen cavities. While it delivers exceptional baking results, users should be aware that it requires hand washing to preserve its surface finish and prevent potential dishwasher damage.

No, it is recommended to hand wash the pan to preserve the aluminum surface and prevent discoloration.
While not strictly necessary if you grease the pan well, using liners makes cleanup significantly easier and is recommended for cupcakes.
The pan is oven safe up to 260 degrees Celsius (500 degrees Fahrenheit).
The pan is made from rust-resistant materials; however, proper drying after hand washing is essential to prevent water-related surface spotting.
The steel rim provides extra reinforcement to ensure the pan does not twist or warp when exposed to high heat.
Ensure the cavities are well-greased before filling or use high-quality paper liners.
This is a natural patina for pure aluminum. It does not affect baking performance, but you can polish with a mild vinegar solution if desired.
Soak the pan in warm soapy water for 10-15 minutes, then use a soft nylon brush to gently remove the debris.
Preparation:
While the finish is smooth, it is not a chemical non-stick surface. Always grease the cavities thoroughly with butter, oil, or a baking spray, or use paper muffin liners to ensure easy release.
