Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This timepiece comes ready to wear. The crown is typically in the '0' position. To set the time, pull the crown out to its furthest position and rotate to the desired hour and minute. Push the crown back in fully to resume normal timekeeping.
Compatibility:
The watch is designed as a standalone analog timepiece. Its primary function is timekeeping and style.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant, avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water (e.g., showering, swimming). Rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly if exposed to salt water or chlorine.
- Strap/Bracelet Adjustment: For bracelet adjustments, it is recommended to visit an authorized Raymond Weil dealer or a professional watchmaker to avoid scratching the metal.
- Battery Replacement: The quartz movement requires periodic battery replacement, typically every 2-3 years. This should be performed by a qualified watchmaker to ensure the seals are maintained and no damage occurs to the movement.
