Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the supporting structure (timber or metal) is level and correctly spaced.
- Cutting: Use a sharp utility knife to score the paper on one side and then snap the board. For curved cuts, a keyhole saw is recommended.
- Fixing: Attach the board to the studs or framework using appropriate drywall screws. Ensure screws are flush with the board's surface.
- Jointing: Apply jointing compound to the joints and embed jointing tape. Smooth the compound and allow it to dry.
- Finishing: Apply a second coat of jointing compound and sand the surface smooth when dry. The surface is then ready for painting or wallpapering.
Compatibility: Compatible with standard drywall screws and jointing compounds.
Care: Avoid exposing the plasterboard to moisture. Handle with care during installation to prevent damage to the edges and surface.
