Provides compression and support to relieve shin splint pain. The Ultimate Compression Elastic Calf Support utilises a seamless circular knit to provide compressive support to weak and injury prone calf muscles, specifically shin splints. Although thinner than neoprene the compressive design of the support offers a high level of support. It is ideal for those who are allergic to, dislike the bulk and/or heat generation of neoprene and latex. The breathable compressive four-way stretch of the material targets support to the area’s most requiring it, mimicking the support and action planes of key ligaments and tendons to reinforce them. The compressive element also stimulates blood flow which can help prevent the build up of lactic acid during and post activity. This reduces the prospect of cramp and stiffness whilst also being a valuable recovery and rehabilitation tool to injury. Recommended for: calf muscle strains, shin splints and minor Achilles strains. Additional features: Bilateral – fits left or right | Latex free. Support Level: This product is classified as Support Level 2: Moderate. Wear Instructions: Pull sleeve into place with the UP logo over the widest part of the calf. Recommended for daytime use only. Ensure that the support does not restrict blood flow. Made in Taiwan. Technical Information: Bi-lateral – fits left or right. Latest edge trim technology helps prevent slip and reduces wear. Breathable 4-way stretch for targeted support and compression. 1 Support per pack. LATEX FREE. Support Level 2. 62% nylon, 38% spandex. SIZING – measure around mid calf: SMALL 12-14″ (30-35cm). MEDIUM 14-16″ (35-40cm). LARGE 16-18″ (40-45cm). XL 18-20″ (45-50cm)
