This Makita 8406 Diamond Core Drill features both rotary and rotary percussion action with a 22,500bpm impact rate. It includes a torque limiter and a long side handle for operator protection, and comes supplied with a carry case. The drill is designed for heavy-duty construction, making it ideal for site work, with percussion action for pilot holes and rotary action for dry diamond core drilling. The torque limiter prevents operator injury if the core bit snags. It is excellent for plumbers, electricians, and general contractors. The kit includes BAP Trade Diamond core drill bits, manufactured for heavy-duty applications through tough construction materials like brick, masonry, and concrete. These core bits have highly concentrated diamond particles and premium grade solid steel barrels for increased drilling speed and extended lifetime. They are suitable for use with drills having a motor of at least 850W. The kit is ideal for medium-hardness brick, concrete blocks, hard sandstone, coarse sandstone, soft slate, breeze block, and lignacite blocks. The 7-piece set includes 152mm and 107mm Cores, suitable for ducting pipes and extractor fans. This set is designed for cutting Granite, marble, limestone, slate, hard bricks, and other dense and non-abrasive materials.
